MFT Card Kit Release...

Today is the day!  The MFT Card Kit called Snowflake Splendor is ready for purchase over at MFT.  I have one ore card left to share with you and its so easy to recreate!

I stamped these gorge snowflakes on the craft cardstock and then attached it to a card base.  Next, I used the celebrate die to create this sparkly sentiment.  I cut it in half and added a little dash to change up the sentiment.

Head on over to the MFT Blog to learn more about the kit.  So glad you stopped in today.  Have a great evening!

Supply List:

Witching You...

Hey crafty people! I am stopping in today with a couple of new cards using the latest Halloween Hooplah Kit.

I adore the pattern paper pack that comes in the kit.  I love all the colors together and so when I saw this diagonal striped piece of paper, I knew it needed to be a background for this card.  I attached it to the card base and then added on a cover up die.

I stamped the sentiment in black ink and then built the little shaker box Witches Hat.  I added in several toppings from the kit and finished it off with a little band of orange cardstock and a twine bow.

Candy Corn is always a hit this time of year and I love that you can find so much of it in this Halloween Hooplah Kit.  The die cut is so much fun and easy to put together, even in this non-shaker card.....

I used the scrap of background paper from the first card and then popped the white panel up on foam tape.  Then I stamped in the sentiment and added the candy corn die cuts.  The little stars are actually toppings from the kit and worked perfect for fun little embellishments.

The kits are still in stock and ready to shop!  Grab one up for yourself today.  Thanks so much for coming by and have a  great day!

We have another countdown day underway for the MFT October Card kit.  Today, I used the snowflake splendor kit to create a non snowflake card....

I stamped different images in bright colors and layered them on a green card base.  I added in a glitter cardstock sentiment using the Thanks die.  And that is it!  Easy peasy!

The MFT Blog will have a list of design team stops to make to see more samples using the newest kit.  The Snowflake Splendor kit will be available on Tuesday at 8pm CST.

Thanks so much for stopping in!

The dies are so fun and can create the most beautiful snowflakes just by stacking them up.  They go together perfectly.  I masked of the background and did a little ink blending and then stamped a sentiment from Dashing Dear.

Head on over to the MFT blog to see all the details.  This kit will be available on Tuesday, October 17th at 8pm CST.

MFT Release Replay...

Last week My Favorite Things had their October Release and there were so many new amazing stamps and dies.  Head on over to the MFT Shop to see whats new by clicking HERE.

The new Scenic Snow Globe Die-namics are so much fun.  When I saw them, I remembered a card that my sweet friend, Tracey McNeeley, made awhile back and I had to create the same type of themed card.  Using the little house from the set, I created this Tracey inspired card...

MFT Product Launch

On the card base, I did some ink soft ink blending to create the sky.  Then I added in several little houses along the sky line.  To cover that skyline, I added in a slope die cut using the Hit the Slopes die.  I stamped a simple sentiment, from Snow Globe Sentiments, in black ink to finish off this CAS card.

MFT Product Launch....

It's Release Day over at My Favorite Things!  Have you had a chance to check everything out?  Head on over to the MFT Blog to see the whole release.  For now, I have one card left to share using the new Lip Balm Window and Frame.  The fun thing?  The window is the perfect fit for rolled up cash.  Which turns this card into the perfect gift card!

MFT October Product Launch

To create this card, I used the Stitched Strip die along the background to give the card a simple, masculine look.  I head embossed the sentiment, from Essential Sentiment set, onto black card stock and then left a little white strip of cardstock underneath, peeking out.

MFT October Product Launch

I have one bill rolled up in here but it could fit several rolled up bills very easily.

A quick and easy way to make it easy for the recipient to pull out the money, is to make a little trap door.  I used the frame die and the negative to cover the back.  I added some washi so it can be easily opened....

MFT Countdown Day2....

Welcome to Day 2 of the MFT Countdown!  I am super excited to share today's card with you.  I used the new Merry Christmas Circle die to create a fun new interactive card....

MFT October Release

It doesn't look interactive does it?  Well it is a spinner card!  I have a video that I will link below, but the Merry Christmas spins around on the card front.  To make this card, I used the circle shaker pouch upside down and tucked the Merry Christmas die behind it.  It spins perfectly!

MFT October Release

Here is the video.  It is not great quality..... for some reason I have had terrible technical difficulties.

Head on over to the MFT Blog to see more!  :)  Release day is coming Tuesday, October 3rd at 8pm CST.  So glad you stopped in today!  Thanks for coming by!

MFT Countdown Day 3...

Welcome to the 3rd Countdown day for the October MFT Release.  Today I am sharing a card using Snow Globe Sentiments and the Snow Globe Die-namics.

MFT Sept Card Kit

First, I cut one of the Stitched Arch STAX dies and put it on the card base.  I stamped the sentiment underneath.  Next, I created the little scene with the snow globe scene dies.  It was so easy to put the house and the trees and the snow together to create a fun little winter scene.  I added Glossy Accents to the window to create the look of glass.

MFT Wednesday Sketch...

Hello there!  It's Wednesday and time for a new sketch over at MFT!  I used a little creative license with this weeks sketch, which you can see below.

MFT Sketch 352

To create the main panel, I did some masking and then some sponged in clouds.  I added grass and a fence for the vertical panel along the card front.  To add in the circle portion, I added in the sun and sentiment. I used a few Copics to color up the tree and that adorable little cow.

Queen and Co Shaker Tags...

Hey there, its Laurie Willison here.  I am stopping in today to share a couple of Queen and Company shaker tags!  I have a housewarming gift to give and I though how perfect a Fall themed tag would be.  So I created this...

Queen and Co Fall Tags

I used the Shaped Shaker Tags to create this project.  I assembled the shaker box with a kraft tag die cut on the top.  I added the orange diamonds from the Primary Diamonds Toppings set and also added in some copper pearlies from the Matte Pearlies Toppings set.

I used some die cut leaves from MFT around the tag frame and then added some ribbon, twine and a little glitter gel pen on the leaves, to finish it off.

Queen and Co Fall Tags

I created a Halloween themed tag using a different shaker tag box....

Queen and Co Fall Tags

For this tag, I used a glitter washi and a black mini washi to add a little decoration to my green tag frame, I created the shaker box and added the matching washi to the inside of the tag.  I used Black Pearlies and Orange Bubbles to fill the box.

I added a couple extra touches using MFT's Fab-BOO-lous Friends spider web and the Stitched Alphabet dies to add the word BOO to the acetate part of the tag.  I also added in some orange ribbon and black twine.  I die cut one black tag frame and attached that to the back of the frame, just for another fun detail.

Queen and Co Fall Tags

So this is it for me today.  I hope you have enjoyed my fall themed tags.  These shaker boxes are so much fun and add so much pizazz to your cards and gifts.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Whimsy: Quick and Easy Tags....

I am stopping in today with another post using the most adorable stamps and dies from Whimsy Stamps!
If you follow my blog, you know I like simple.  Quick and easy, clean and simple....its my favorite!  I also like to mass produce things to use.  And when mass producing, if its clean and simple?  Its the best!

I also love rainbows!  So mix those 2 things together and I'm in!  :)  Today, I created a very quick set of tags using one image from the Whimsy Handmade from Me set.  I chose the heart image that says "for you from me" and created this simple tag.  It would be perfect for Valentines Day!

I stamped one heart on each of the Stitched Tags using the Misti, which of course makes it easy and quick!

These tags can be tied to gift bags, clipped on little gift bags, taped on a package.  The possibilities are endless!

I found coordinating twice to go with each tag so they are gift ready!

So glad you stopped in today!  Hope you are having a great day!

Whimsy Thanks...

Hello there!  I am stopping in today with my first post as a guest over at Whimsy Stamps!  I have a clean and simple rainbow card to share today, using Bold Banners and the thanks die from Card Builder Many Thanks Dies.

To create this card, I picked out a rainbow of Fresh Inks...Tomato Red, Tangerine, Buttercup (Amuse Studio), Celery, Teal and Silver Lilac.  I used the back of the "Congratulations" stamp to get this solid banner image.  With this solid image, it is very easy to line up and stamp twice if you don't get the color you want with the first image.

At the bottom of the card, I added in the "thanks" die.  I went for a glossy accents look and then realized that it needed some sparkle, so I went over it with some microfine glitter.  When using Glossy Accents on thin letters like this, I take a pin and push the glossy accents around to cover all the smaller areas.  Last, I cut down the card front and then added it to a white card base.

So that is it for my super simple Whimsy card for today.  I have more to share this month so stop back by soon!

Whimsy has an amazing line of stamps and dies, along with digital stamps and great promos on shipping and gifts with purchase.  Head on over to their shop to check it out!

Thanks for coming by and have a great day!
